Preparation documents for the Invasion of Great Britain, including 6 maps and a photographic reconnaissance manual of the priority objectives of the South zone n°11.

The operation “Seelöwe” or ” Sea Lion”, had for objective to invade Great Britain following the invasion of France in 1940.

The German troops were supposed to leave from the ports Cherbourg, Le Havre and Calais supported by airborne troops, but due to material and logistic problems, this operation was definitively abandoned in 1943.

This copy is the 11th of a series of 12 files planned for this operation, dated 1941

It contains 6 maps (Bath, Bristol, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton of different sizes and one of the global area of the south of England of size 37”x 27”cm), as well as a booklet of photos and illustrations of the objectives of the area of size 8” x 6”.

This copy is in good condition, documents are complete, when a cardboard flap at the bottom of the folder.
