VICTORY MEDAL: The Victory Medal commemorates military service during World War II, and is awarded to any member of the United States Army, including members of the Armed Forces of the Government of the Philippine Islands, who served on active or reserve duty between December 7, 1941 and December 31, 1946.

AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL: Medal instituted on November 6, 1942, awarded for thirty days’ consecutive service in a theater of operations between December 7, 1941 and March 6, 1946, or for one year’s service in the USA.

EUROPEAN AFRICAN MIDDLE EASTERN WWII CAMPAIGN MEDAL: Medal commemorating the European, African and Middle Eastern campaigns of 1941-1945.

GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL: Created in 1941, this medal is awarded to soldiers with one year’s exemplary wartime service or 3 consecutive years’ service.

AMERICAN DEFENSE MEDAL: The American Defense Medal – WW II (ADSM) is awarded to any soldier who has served at least one year between September 8, 1939 and December 6, 1941.
