Rare holster for the US M1 rifle.

Experimental model issued in limited numbers to the US Army and USMC.

Heavy canvas holster with a large loop on the back for wearing on the US belt.

A leather reinforcement allows the cocking lever to pass through, clip closure.

Inside stamped with manufacturer and production date “Protection Product-Co – 1943”.

In original mint condition.
